Families can utilize one of the two programs outlined below but not both.
The Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program from the Arizona Department of Education provides educational options for all Arizona students. Families can apply for an ESA year round allowing families to meet the unique educational needs of their child.
Please visit the Arizona Department of Education ESA homepage for more information on application questions, processing deadlines, etc.
The Arizona Private School Tuition Tax Credit allows Arizona taxpayers to give to certified School Tuition Organizations (STOs) and receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit against their Arizona income taxes. State income tax credit contributions fund scholarships for students to attend qualified private schools located in Arizona (A.R.S. Title 43, Chapters 15 and 16).
Scholarships are available to families of all income levels. The only requirement to receive tax credit funding is that your child is enrolled in an Arizona Private K-12 school. Funding for scholarships comes from the tax credit donations of individuals and corporations. Your participation in having your social contacts donate is necessary to increase the funds available for your family’s scholarship awards.
