Classical education is education founded on the Trivium or "three roads."  These three roads are grammar, logic, and rhetoric.  But these are foundational thinking skills and not necessarily what their names imply.  Grammar is the concrete information necessary for building upon, logic is the puzzling aspect, and rhetoric is the outpouring from these important ways of thinking.

Emphatically, no!  Excellent education should serve all!  Excellent education comes from solid pedagogy delivered by a teacher who coaches their students to improve and invest the talent they've been given by the Lord.  Classical educators understand that the trivium is the tool for going a mile deep and an inch wide, rather than shallow learning.  Classical education, founded on Scripture, and delivered by an excellent education is for all types of learners!
